At the Loja do Espacialista, you will find O Espacialista, surrounded by images, memories and materials, resulting from the everyday measurement and mediation of the imaginary intensities between body and space, based on gestures and objects from the Kit Espacialista.
The Centro Cultural de Belém Foundation reserves the right to collect, store and use recordings of image, sound and voice, for the purposes of dissemination and for preserving the memory of its cultural and artistic activities, as well as its spaces. The Loja do Espacialista is an inhabitable measurement box resembling a permanent architectural and artistic installation, full of ideas, objects and projects in the form of postcards, geometrical solids, books, magazines, architects’ scale models and works or art, all resulting from the spatial practices that the Espacialistas undertake in the different places that they pass through, using a series of exercises and (p)references that they have gathered together from the most diverse activities of Human Life.
At the Loja do Espacialista, words are poetic, an illustrated postcard is a photographic sketch of an imaginary journey, a geometrical solid is a possibility for enlarging space, a piece of furniture is an infinite corporal space, a drawing is the (de)composition of the imaginary worlds captured by the Espacialistas as they measure their way through space and project onto it all the interior images that they carry with them.
