VERBUM is a program that explores European composers’ approach to poetic text in the 19th and 20th centuries. During the concert, the audience will be able to listen to Cycles of Songs by Johannes Brahms, Maurice Ravel, Joly Braga Santos, Eric Whitacre, and John Rutter, which interconnect in the search for harmonizing melodies, some of which are popular.
