As part of the exhibition Marina Tabassum: Materials, Movements, and Architecture in Bangladesh, the Education and Mediation Service of the MAC/CCB presents the documentary film of the project A House in Your Head.

At the exhibition’s finissage, we will showcase the work created over three weekends, which brought together different generations, communities, languages, and spaces across the city.

A House in Your Head, aiming to celebrate and connect with the Bangladeshi community, consists of visits and workshops conducted in three languages—Portuguese, Bangla, and English—thereby encouraging the involvement of other communities.

This intergenerational project is part of the parallel programme of the exhibition Marina Tabassum. Materials, Movements, and Architecture in Bangladesh, and it was coordinated and designed by the sculptor Virgínia Fróis, in collaboration with the architect Nuno Vasconcelos and the architect Tamanna Ahmed.

The Centro Cultural de Belém Foundation reserves the right to collect, store and use recordings of image, sound and voice, for the purposes of dissemination and for preserving the memory of its cultural and artistic activities, as well as its spaces.
