Reading Room

The Reading Room of the Centro Cultural de Belém is located on Floor 1 of the Conference Centre providing yet another space that hosts events from the CCB’s cultural programme, and is essentially devoted to books, writers and reading.

The CCB’s Reading Room has a general bibliographical collection, focusing, in particular, on the areas of Literature and Visual Arts.

This space has 40 seats that can be used for reading purposes and four open-access computers, while books can also be borrowed for home reading.

While remaining a space that is primarily intended for study, reading and reflection, the Reading Room is also used to host conferences, lecture cycles, book launches, or other events relating to literature, its authors and audiences.

Monday to Friday | 10:00am to 07:00pm
Saturday | 10:00am to 05:30pm
Sundays and Holidays | Closed

Saturday | 10:00am to 17:30pm

The Centro Cultural de Belém Foundation (FCCB) reserves the right to change the opening hours of the Reading Room whenever it is used to hold cultural cycles and/or other events.
