Considered one of the leading vocalists in contemporary jazz, Youn Sun Nah has built an international career defined by interpretative freedom and a subtle fusion of jazz, folk and improvisation. At Misty Fest, she will perform alongside the extraordinary Franco-Serbian pianist Bojan Z. Their musical collaboration began three years ago, following the release of Elles, an album in which the singer paid tribute to some of the artists who have shaped her artistic journey, including Nina Simone, Grace Jones and Sheila Jordan. Since then, the project has continued to evolve, now incorporating original songs written by Youn Sun Nah herself. Always searching for new sounds and unafraid to take risks in pursuit of a truly distinctive musical expression, Youn Sun Nah gives herself completely on stage, offering audiences a unique emotional experience.
