Theatre
Georg Büchner died in 1837, at the age of 23, leaving Woyzeck, one of the plays that heralded modern theatre, unfinished. It is a fragmentary, incomplete text and, for that very reason, remains open to multiple possibilities.
The question that auéééu have chosen to address concerns the tendency of patriarchal power to act according to the laws of scientific progress, on the one hand, and, on the other, the evident and catastrophic consequences of doing so.
On stage, a scientific laboratory is created in which humanoid machines obey an artificial order of intelligence that is not governed by ethical values. In a dystopian setting, these figures operate solely in the name of progress, culminating in a femicide.
