António Vasco Moraes presents Sombra, the album that brings his Saudade, Silêncio and Sombra trilogy to a close — a collection of three albums dedicated to traditional Fado and conceived as a tribute to Tereza Tarouca, one of his greatest influences and sources of inspiration in the world of Fado.
Following Saudade (2011) and Silêncio (2016), Sombra marks the culmination of this artistic and personal journey, deepening his dialogue with the tradition and repertoire that have shaped his identity as a performer. Entirely dedicated to traditional Fado, the album features special appearances by Helder Moutinho, Teresa Lopes Alves, Mónica Azinhais de Melo and Carmo Beirão da Veiga, bringing together different voices in a celebration of the heritage, memory and continuity of Fado.
