For the first time, conductor Enrico Onofri and Lisbon Metropolitan Orchestra will perform together the most famous symphony inspired by the lands of Italy, Symphony No. 4 by Mendelssohn. But the journey begins before that, with a symphony by Boccherini dedicated in 1788 to the King of Prussia. We will also listen to the same composer’s Concerto for Cello and Orchestra No. 9, unavoidable in the repertoire of the great virtuosos of our time, like the cellist Julia Hagen.
