Sean Riley & The Slowriders premiered in 2007 with the release of the album Farewell. The relevance given to Farewell raised the bar for the second album – and the band responded with an inspired Only Time Will Tell.
Critically acclaimed, supported by great live performances, such as the success achieved at the Paredes de Coura and Alive festivals, and with two albums released in Benelux (Belgium, Netherlands, and Luxembourg) by Sonic Rendezvous.
Later was released the Portuguese edition of It’s Been A Long Night, an album in which the group allowed itself to absorb all the references that populate its artistic imagination.
After three years away from the stage to pursue side projects (as in the case of Afonso Rodrigues with Keep Razors Sharp), in 2015, the band returned to the stage and, in 2016, to original records. In 2017 they celebrated ten years with the reissue of Farewell and a sold-out tour.
In 2021 they returned to albums with LIFE, considered one of the best albums of the year by Portuguese media. This album will be presented at the CCB.
