Between an intimate encounter and the magic of the stage there is a lot, but what is the smallest distance between these two instances? Pai para Jantar [Father for Dinner] is a game between Gaya, Gil and the audience, which tries to scrutinize masculinity in a poetic and humorous way. The performance plays with the ways in which we manage words, affections and archetypes around the idea of «being a man». Done in small groups, the performance suggests a subjective path towards the ballast of our parents that lasts in our personality and is at the base of many desires and failures. A meeting between a butcher woman and a minotaur that got lost in its own labyrinth. — Gaya de Medeiros
