GNR celebrate more than three decades of In Vivo, one of the most significant albums of their career.
GNR — Tóli César Machado, Rui Reininho and Jorge Romão — bring 2026 to a close with a series of special concerts celebrating the legacy of In Vivo, the iconic double album released in 1990, the band’s first live album and one of the biggest-selling albums in Portuguese music history. At these concerts, GNR promise to revive the infectious energy and unique atmosphere that have distinguished them throughout their 46-year career.
Originally released by EMI – Valentim de Carvalho, In Vivo captured GNR’s electrifying energy during two historic nights, 30 April and 1 May 1990, at the Coliseu dos Recreios in Lisbon. Drawing on the acclaimed album Valsa dos Detectives, the setlist at the time brought together the band’s greatest hits and memorable renditions of international classics such as Runaway, by Del Shannon, and an excerpt from Apache, by The Shadows, incorporated into the song Hardcore. Awarded platinum certification, the album also had a second edition, which included the timeless Homens Temporariamente Sós.
More than a journey back in time, these concerts celebrate the enduring bond between GNR and generations of fans, with a setlist designed to honour the vibrant repertoire of an album that defined an era and continues to attract new listeners.
