Regarding the presentation of the opera Fidelio at the CCB, in co-production with the São Carlos National Theatre, we invited Rui Vieira Nery to introduce us to this work, the only opera composed by Beethoven, premiered in Vienna in 1805. The work addresses themes such as freedom, justice and the power of love.
