The mirror is a harmless object. Until it starts getting things right.

From the outset, Cara de Espelho have used it for what it does best: exposing petty power and great cunning, convenient faith and selective outrage, business disguised as progress, lies repeated until they begin to sound like truth, opinions that have no need for facts, and the many ways, old and new, of shifting the blame elsewhere.

On 1 April 2027, this universe comes to CCB’s Main Auditorium in Lisbon. An evening built around what has always been at the heart of Cara de Espelho: observing behaviour, dismantling rhetoric, recognising contradictions and turning it all into songs.

The band’s two albums provide the raw material for a performance that brings together the world of Cara de Espelho and the repertoire that has come to define their identity. On stage will be the stories, characters and figures that inhabit this universe. And there will be other faces too.

The Centro Cultural de Belém Foundation reserves the right to collect, store and use recordings of image, sound and voice, for the purposes of dissemination and for preserving the memory of its cultural and artistic activities, as well as its spaces.
