A concert that brings together Beethoven’s Trio in B Flat Major, op. 11, for clarinet, cello and piano, Miguel Azguime’s ConCordas for string orchestra and the world première of the Triple Concerto for clarinet, cello, piano and string orchestra, commissioned by the CCB. This Triple Concerto is a direct homage to Beethoven in the year of the 250th anniversary of his birth.

For Azguime, the German composer is a major influence: because of the artistic individuality that he displayed, the creative freedom and independence that he asserted, the challenging virtuosity that playing his music requires, and the sense of innovativeness and unexpectedness that it arouses.

This concert brings together two high-class ensembles: the Camerata Alma Mater and the soloists of the Sond’Ar-te Electric Ensemble, conducted by Pedro Neves.
