Can a film in progress be a performance? Joana Craveiro begins with a series of images she captured in Palestine to explore a response to this question.
The record of two trips to the West Bank serves as the starting point for an editing exercise around what was seen and what was heard, narrated in Portuguese and Arabic — an amalgam of seemingly unrelated images, or a hidden dramaturgy concealed between the lines of life and landscape as observed?
Everything remains open in this project, everything under construction.
The Centro Cultural de Belém Foundation reserves the right to collect, store and use recordings of image, sound and voice, for the purposes of dissemination and for preserving the memory of its cultural and artistic activities, as well as its spaces.
