What Is a Sculpture?
António Bolota, a sculptor and one of the driving forces behind the project that took place at no. 211 on Avenida da Liberdade, has developed this workshop especially for MAC/CCB. Together, we will explore the concepts of form and material, as well as the relationship between sculpture and architecture. Is a sculpture perceived in the same way when placed in different spaces? And what are the tricks to balancing the most amazing forms? Let’s hear it from the master.

Claiming Children’s Rights
Claiming children’s rights through colour is the watchword. The programme includes a reading of the Convention on the Rights of the Child and an invitation for children to create a poster, through collage and drawing, which they can carry through the museum hall, marching alongside two works that represent this form of protest and social activism.
