The adufe — a traditional square percussion instrument — takes center stage in this workshop. The starting point is the oral tradition of adufe playing and singing from the region of Idanha-a-Nova, the homeland of Ti Chitas. This workshop aims to provide each participant with the basic tools needed to become familiar with the adufe.
