The true story of the surfing legend Jay Moriarity. When, at the age of 15, Jay discovers that the mythical gigantic waves of Northern California, known as the Mavericks, are real and that they are to be found only a few miles from his home in Santa Cruz, he asks the hero and local legend Frosty Hesson to teach him how to survive and conquer the waves. Together, Jay and Frosty embark on a quest to achieve the impossible, while at the same time forming a unique friendship that will change both their lives. In the end, the challenge of conquering the Mavericks ends up becoming much more than just a surfing experience.

The film will be screened in Blu-ray.
