For Lee Ritenour, there aren’t many «firsts» left to be achieved.

Over the course of his brilliant five-decade career, the legendary Los Angeles guitarist has pushed his music to the limits, venturing into every genre and taking on every role in the world of rock ’n’ roll. Ritenour was an enfant terrible of 1970s fusion, a pop star in the 1980s, an honorary exponent of Brazilian jazz, and one of the driving forces behind the 1990s supergroup Fourplay. His recognitions include 45 albums, 16 Grammy nominations, USC Alumnus of the Year, an award from the Los Angeles Jazz Society (2019), and thousands of sessions with legends such as Frank Sinatra, Pink Floyd, B.B. King, Tony Bennett, among others.
