Formed by four leading musicians of Portugal’s new jazz generation — Bernardo Tinoco, João Almeida, João Fragoso, and João Sousa — GARFO has been steadily carving its place in the national jazz scene since its debut in 2019. With performances in numerous venues and festivals across the country, the group was named Best New Group at the RTP/Festa do Jazz Awards following the release of their first album on the Clean Feed label.

In 2026, they perform at the CCB presenting their second album, Órdia, released by Robalo, where they continue to explore free improvisation, complex rhythmic structures, and an open, communicative musical language.

The Centro Cultural de Belém Foundation reserves the right to collect, store and use recordings of image, sound and voice, for the purposes of dissemination and for preserving the memory of its cultural and artistic activities, as well as its spaces.
