Vera Mantero’s new creation for Companhia Maior is based on an original text by Joana Bértholo, creating a performative space in which the performers exist beyond any reductive understanding of age. What emerges is an open field shaped by the choreographer’s research and compositional methods, in dialogue with Joana Bértholo’s text, and informed by the personal, social, and cultural realities embodied by Companhia Maior.
