Celebrating its 85th anniversary, the Liga Portuguesa Contra o Cancro – Núcleo Regional do Sul (LPCC-NRS) brings Charity Fado Gathering – 85 Years of LPCC to Centro Cultural de Belém’s Main Auditorium, featuring some of the most prominent figures in the world of fado.
For the concept and musical direction, LPCC-NRS has invited Jorge Fernando, a renowned songwriter, composer, singer and instrumentalist, to join forces with Hélder Moutinho, an equally acclaimed fado singer who has also played a key role in the careers of many of these artists as a manager and music producer, to bring this performance to life.
José Carlos Malato will introduce the guest fado singers and host the gathering. The performers include Fábia Rebordão, Filipa Cardoso, Joana Amendoeira, José Gonçalez and Pedro Moutinho, alongside Jorge Fernando and Hélder Moutinho themselves.
The Centro Cultural de Belém Foundation reserves the right to collect, store and use recordings of image, sound and voice, for the purposes of dissemination and for preserving the memory of its cultural and artistic activities, as well as its spaces.
