How do we make ourselves heard in an unstable world? How can we move across ground that is constantly shifting beneath our feet?
Among unstable structures, words, gestures, and protest signs, we will play with balance and imbalance as if riding a skateboard. Together, we will explore ways of being together, claiming our desires, and imagining new forms of participation in shared space. Inspired by Voltas e Reviravoltas, from the Missão: Democracia collection, this workshop invites participants to experiment with new words and new ways of thinking about what we call citizenship.
Clara, a dancer, and Mantraste, illustrator of the book, bring together movement and drawing in a workshop where participants will create protest posters while their bodies move, lose balance, and rediscover support through the collective.
