Music

With a career spanning several decades and a life entirely devoted to music, Rodrigo celebrates his 85th birthday as a major figure in Portuguese culture and music. This concert pays tribute not only to the performer, but also to the man, the remarkable path he has forged, the memories he has created and the deep connection he has always maintained with Fado — its venues, the musicians who have accompanied him, the audiences who have embraced him and Portuguese communities around the world.
On this unique evening, some of the most prominent names in Fado come together to celebrate Rodrigo’s work, voice and legacy, sharing the stage with the artist in a heartfelt, living tribute. Throughout the concert, Rodrigo will perform some of the most emblematic songs from his extensive repertoire, in an event that is at once a celebration, a recognition and a testament to a life devoted to music.

The Centro Cultural de Belém Foundation reserves the right to collect, store and use recordings of image, sound and voice, for the purposes of dissemination and for preserving the memory of its cultural and artistic activities, as well as its spaces.
