With her intriguing voice, elusive style and dreamy music videos, Kate Bush has been an enigma to generations of listeners for decades. In Cloudbusting, singer and performer Aline Goffin takes young people on a journey through Bush’s inimitable universe. Not with a classical concert, but with a particularly intimate moment in which music, movement and image come together. Visual artist Nele Fack, known for her animations for Zonzo Compagnie’s THELONIOUS, brings this universe to life through magical holograms and a surprising visual world. The performance features iconic songs such as Running Up That Hill, while also revealing lesser-known tracks from Kate Bush’s repertoire. Armed with only her voice, a mini guitar, and a pair of drumsticks, Aline Goffin shows how the power of Kate Bush’s compositions remains intact even in a minimalist setting.
