Music
Laura Misch
Expanding her electroacoustic palette and drawing inspiration from a lineage of pioneering women in electronic music, saxophonist, singer and multidisciplinary artist Laura Misch has developed a body of work that interweaves her three main voices — saxophone, vocals and synthesis — into an innovative musical language, to be performed and released throughout 2026.
For this performance, she draws on the ancestral sounds of air, water and stone, inviting the audience into a deep and contemplative listening experience through songs and immersive soundscapes.
Anne Paceo
A leading figure on today’s music scene and a standard-bearer of the new crossover jazz movement, French drummer and composer Anne Paceo has received widespread acclaim for both her technique and her musical vision, imbued with trance and spirituality. At Misty Fest, she presents Atlantis, her eighth album of original music, inspired by the ocean and the many dimensions of the aquatic element. On stage, she is joined by Maya Cros (keyboards), Lilian Mille (trumpet), Gauthier Toux (piano), Christophe Panzani (saxophone) and Cynthia Abraham (vocals).
Mammal Hands
Blending jazz, contemporary classical, electronic, folk and minimalism, Mammal Hands are at the forefront of a new wave of British artists challenging genre boundaries. The Norwich-based trio — Jordan Smart (saxophone), Nick Smart (piano) and former GoGo Penguin member Rob Turner (drums) — quickly earned praise from renowned musicians such as Bonobo and Jamie Cullum for their creative approach. Across five albums, they have built a loyal international fanbase, as well as a strong critical reputation for their intense and hypnotic live performances. In Portugal, they present Circada, their latest album, marked by a cinematic, human and visceral sound.
The Centro Cultural de Belém Foundation reserves the right to collect, store and use recordings of image, sound and voice, for the purposes of dissemination and for preserving the memory of its cultural and artistic activities, as well as its spaces.
