Love, madness, passion – in this enchanting program, rising star Samuel Mariño and the Gabetta Consort take us on a journey through the delirious landscapes of Baroque love.
Led by great virtuoso Andrés Gabetta, the ensemble crafts together masterful instrumental pieces that blend with passionate arias in an emotional dialogue.
The programme brings together the extraordinary Grosso Mogul concerto, where Vivaldi’s brilliant writing showcases Gabetta’s spectacular technique, and Handel’s dramatic cantata Il Delirio Amoroso — a timeless story of love’s power to transcend all boundaries.
Through their historically informed yet technically brilliant approach, Mariño and Gabetta breathe fresh life to these eternal messages of passion and desire, making them resonate as powerfully today as they did three centuries ago.
An extraordinary evening of virtuosity and emotion in the vibrant spirit of the Italian Baroque.
