Rhapsody in Blue transports us to the Prohibition era in the USA, when jazz emerged and gained recognition. Gershwin, in 1924, and Ravel, in 1928, integrated jazz into their works. Pianist Thomas Enhco pays homage to both, and a new piece by Carlos Azevedo — commissioned by CCB — will be premiered.
