For the concert celebrating the 50th anniversary of the 25th of April, we did not want to witness and celebrate, serene and rested, our past. We decided to build something that reveals the fragility of democracy, showing the new concerns, the new revolutions, the new actors of these changes against the threats, which, because they seem old, we believe do not reach us.
This will be a concert that is a trigger, a weapon that sings of anger and joy, that points to our conscience because, as José Mário Branco said, «despondency, mysticism and illusions… never made revolutions».
The Centro Cultural de Belém Foundation reserves the right to collect, store and use recordings of image, sound and voice, for the purposes of dissemination and for preserving the memory of its cultural and artistic activities, as well as its spaces.
