The trio led by the double-bass player André Rosinha, and also comprising pianist João Paulo Esteves da Silva and drummer Marcos Cavaleiro, will be presenting their first album at the CCB, entitled Árvore and released in December 2019. This trio’s music is open to new experiences and new paths, exploring various concepts of individual and collective improvisation under the influence of various musical styles, such as jazz, Latin American music, folk and classical music.
This is music that is fed by the present moment and the interaction between the three group members, with a lot of room for improvisation, so that the musicians taking part in the process can explore their musical personalities.
