This concert is a retrospective of Ute’s 40 year long career and journey through music and theater.
In a time travel she takes us from her root repertoire of the wild Weimar Berlin with Weill and Brecht, Eisler and Berlin Kabarett which leads in a timeline to the devastating songs that were sung secretly in the Ghettos.
Ute will explore here own compositions to words by Neruda and Coelho, Bukowski and her own poetry.
But the French Chanson has always been a treasure in Ute’s heart with a special dedication to Léo Ferré and Jacques Brel.
