Tickets for this concert are available from the CCB Box Office upon presentation of a paid ticket for any other BIG BANG Festival activity (one ticket per person).
We first met Gabriel Santos at BIG BANG 2023. He was 12 years old at the time and, together with seven fellow students from the Escola de Música do Conservatório Nacional, took part in a project by Victor Gama and his team as both creator and performer. He already has extensive and consistent training as a violinist and, from an early age, showed an interest in conducting. His parents supported him in pursuing private training in this field.
Today, Gabriel is 15 and has an enthusiastic and creative spirit. He has founded several orchestras with innovative classical music projects, involving fellow students from the Conservatory and the Escola Superior de Música. He has also helped organise summer courses.
In his ongoing dialogue with Fábrica das Artes, Gabriel has repeatedly expressed his wish to find regular support for his orchestra’s courses and concerts. BIG BANG 2026 is the perfect setting to support the “Mini Maestro” and introduce his orchestra to festival audiences.
