It explores research, criticism and curation as fundamental acts for architectural proposition and vice versa, how built form can act as a form of criticism and research. The talk will draw on Jacob\u2019s design practice at FAT and now as principal of Sam Jacob Studio, including projects such as the\u00a0<em>Heerlijkheid<\/em><em>\u00a0Hoogvliet<\/em>, a park and cultural centre in Rotterdam,\u00a0<em>A Clockwork Jerusalem<\/em>\u00a0curated for the British Pavilion at the Venice Biennale as well as more recent projects including\u00a0<em>A Very Small Part of Architecture<\/em>, a resurrection of Adolf Loos\u2019 never built mausoleum and well as his writing as critic for\u00a0<em>Art Review<\/em>\u00a0and\u00a0<em>Dezeen<\/em>.
