It seems to have been the composer himself, fearing that he would not be able to finish the work (dedicated to the \u201cbeloved God\u201d) and opposed to the idea of a sorrowful\u00a0<em>Adagio<\/em>\u00a0as the last movement, who suggested the use of his own\u00a0<em>Te deum<\/em>\u00a0as the finale.
