A promising voice from the new generation of Fado singers, Z\u00e9 Maria will be presenting his first recordings at this concert, released on the Museu do Fado Discos label. This debut album reflects his musical path, which was mapped out for him early on by the Fado, later maturing and being brought to the attention of wider audiences at some of Lisbon\u2019s most emblematic Fado houses.<\/p>\n
Z\u00e9 Maria\u2019s Fado is harmonious and tuneful, being deeply rooted in tradition, but also producing more complex melodies and displaying a special sensitivity to poetry and what it communicates.<\/p>\n
