Karl Otto Ellefsen, professor at the School of Architecture and Design in Oslo, will present various stages and processes of urban development associated with cod fishing in northern Norway. Andr\u00e9 Tavares, co-curator of the exhibition and programmer at Garagem Sul, will examine some equivalent examples of construction in Newfoundland and Portugal. In conversation with Diego Inglez de Souza, we return to the fundamental question of the exhibition: How do environmental and ecological circumstances give shape and meaning to construction practices of landscape and architecture?
