With their very own style based on constant reinvention, the bahrani<\/em> collective has successfully conquered its own particular space. This psychedelic ethno-folk<\/em> band enables us to understand both comfortable dancing in psychedelic territory and experimental rock (and more besides) through the tags that are used in Bandcamp to describe Moon<\/em>: electronic, experimental, exotic, psychedelic, tropical, ethnic, pop, tribal, bass<\/em>. The founder, Kamal Rasool, was lucky enough to be born into an adventurous family and spent his time collecting percussion instruments on his countless trips around the world. The next step was to imbue his friends with a strong belief in psychedelic multiculturality and the project that began as Kamal\u2019s bedroom<\/em> evolved to become what we now know today as the Flamingods.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
