Recounting her personal story as a young girl who spent her childhood in rehabilitation centres alongside her severely disabled father, the director confronts her traumatic memories with the exceptional experimentation developed at REHAB in Basel by the Swiss architects Herzog &amp; de Meuron. Proposing highly specialised treatment for physical and neurological disabilities, this hospital has become a model of a kind thanks to its holistic approach of rehabilitation addressing with the same level of attention physical care and mental wellbeing.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Presented by Manuel Henriques.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Manuel Henriques<\/strong> (Lisbon, 1975) is the Executive Director of the Lisbon Architecture Triennale. From 2003 to 2010, he served as a consultant in Architecture and Design for DGArtes\/MC, where he coordinated Portugal\u2019s official representations at the Venice and S\u00e3o Paulo Architecture Biennales.
