And yet it did happen, and so we welcomed the EPs <i>1,2,3,4<\/i> and <i>Ups&#8230; Fiz Isto Outra Vez <\/i>(Oops, I Did It Again), which paved the way for <i>Vida Salgada<\/i>, his first LP, released in 2016. This was followed, in 2018, by the album <i>Filipe Sambado &amp; Os Acompanhantes de Luxo<\/i>. Highly acclaimed by the specialist critics and by the general public, it was considered the best Portuguese record of the year by the radio stations Antena 3, Radar and Vodafone FM, and was nominated for the SPA 2019 Awards in the category of Music \u2013 Best Popular Music Work. In 2020, Filipe Sambado took part as a composer in the Portuguese Song Festival, with a song that forms part of his new album, <i>Revezo<\/i>, the second one to be produced by NorteSul\/Valentim de Carvalho and the third work that he has made under the auspices of the music promotion agency Maternidade.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Filipe Sambado began his musical career in 2012 with the EP Isto N\u00e3o \u00c9 Coisa Pra Voltar a Acontecer (This Should Never Happen Again).
