{"id":7084,"date":"2020-03-25T14:28:09","date_gmt":"2020-03-25T14:28:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.ccb.pt\/?page_id=7084"},"modified":"2026-01-20T10:36:59","modified_gmt":"2026-01-20T10:36:59","slug":"about-ccb","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.ccb.pt\/en\/about-ccb\/","title":{"rendered":"About CCB"},"content":{"rendered":"\r\n<p><strong>The Centro Cultural de Bel\u00e9m is managed by a Foundation whose aim is to promote culture, developing and disseminating new creations in all of their different forms, from classical music to jazz, from theatre to dance, from opera to literature, architecture and cinema.<\/strong><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>In 2023, the Exhibition Centre of CCB opened its doors as <strong>MAC\/CCB \u2013 Museum of Contemporary Art and Architecture Centre<\/strong>. The museum houses the Berardo Collection, the Holma\/Ellipse Collection and the Teixeira de Freitas Collection, as well as parts of the State Contemporary Art Collection. In the Portuguese context, this makes it the most important international collection of works produced since modernism.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>The CCB is also available as a centre for the holding of conferences and professional meetings.
