We believe the museum is also a place to play, discover, and learn freely. The Play Room, located on floor -1 of the museum, emerges from this desire: to offer alternative ways of being in and thinking about the museum. It is a space where play, creation, experimentation, and curiosity meet, and where workshops such as “Learn to Play & Play to Learn” take place.
\nDeveloping forms of mediation and engagement with art and space, objects inspired by works in the MAC\/CCB collections give rise to games and proposals that promote a more interactive and accessible visit. A “Play Room Leaflet,” with texts and activity suggestions adapted to different age groups, accompanies the experience.
\nParticipation is open, with a member of the Education and Mediation team on hand to assist, suggest pathways, and accompany discoveries. Open to families\u2014proof that learning also happens through play!<\/p>\n
