It explores the art of counterpoint, freedom, and rhythmic abstraction, imagining universes that are easily created and destroyed, that anticipate, connect, and diverge from the music as initially conceived. Formed in late 2023 by double bassist Z\u00e9 Almeida, with Mariana Dion\u00edsio (voice), Ad\u00e8le Viret (cello), and Samuel Ber (drums), the group released the album <em>S\u00edstole<\/em> in 2024, where composition and improvisation coexist in constant metamorphosis \u2014 a systole on its way to its diastole.<\/p>\n<p>One of hilde\u2019s greatest strengths lies in their ability to find utterly unexpected \u2014 sometimes even audaciously bold \u2014 connections between abstract sonic invention and the grace of tradition. This rare gift reveals itself most vividly in their live performances, where four musicians merge into a single entity: <em>hilde<\/em>, a being with four heads and eight arms, confronting us with overwhelming gentleness in <em>Tide<\/em>. Each piece stands on its own, yet the order is far from arbitrary \u2014 hilde tells a story that must be heard from the first to the last sound. Their intuitive unity rests on a dependable benevolence that allows them to reach the limit and touch the most
