Far from a hagiographic portrait presenting a fixed image of the man and his work, the film explores the fragile, precious material of the architect\u2019s sensibility with rare spontaneity, shedding light on how his perception of the emotion of space is nurtured.\u00a0Conceived as a performative cinematic experience, this film captures the alchemy of a day-long encounter between Bijoy Jain and B\u00eaka &amp; Lemoine\u2014twelve hours of intense wandering, plunging us into the vital energy of the streets of Mumbai. Through visual notes made in the intimacy of the studio, observations of informal tactics of the city, and visits to production sites, the film reveals how closely Bijoy Jain\u2019s work is tied to the city of Mumbai, providing endless resources and inspiration. This is a sensory film where gesture becomes the language of intuition.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><u>Presented by Pedro Bandeira<\/u><\/p>\n<p>Pedro Bandeira (1970) is an architect (FAUP, 1996), Associate Professor at the School of Architecture, Art and Design, University of Minho, and a researcher at Lab2PT. He has authored numerous publications on architectural culture and is a co-editor of the photography series Fasc\u00edculos de Fotografia, published by Pierrot le
