SUMMARY:Three Voices by Morton Feldman
DESCRIPTION:Three Voices (1982) is a work by Morton Feldman\, one of the most significant figures of the 20th-century experimental movement. Associated with the New York avant-garde\, Feldman collaborated closely with artists such as John Cage\, Jackson Pollock\, Mark Rothko\, and Philip Guston. \nDedicated to Joan La Barbara\, Three Voices is Feldman’s homage to Philip Guston and Frank O’Hara. The piece\, written for one live voice and two pre-recorded voices\, incorporates fragments of a poem by Frank O’Hara. \n  \n Before each concert\, join the guided tour and discover the dialogues that emerge between works from the Berardo Collection and the composers. \n\nGuided tour “Still\, Painting” 30 min. before the concert (3:30 pm\, Floor 2)
