DESCRIPTION:A celebrated work conceived by Igor Stravinsky and Charles-Ferdinand Ramuz during the First World War\, The Soldier’s Tale is a unique dialogue between word and music. \nActor João Fino\, accompanied by a seven-piece ensemble from Orquestra das Beiras conducted by maestro Jan Wierzba\, performs Stravinsky’s virtuosic score\, which will be commented on by Susana Henriques. Together\, they transport us into a world inspired by Slavic folk tales\, narrating the story of a young soldier who is tempted by the Devil to trade his cherished violin for great riches \n  \nConcert commentary by Susana Henriques
