DESCRIPTION:Composition/Performance Composition \nRelaxation\, the use of voice\, writing\, breathing\, and free association are some of the tools employed in this workshop to reach the movements\, actions\, structures\, and compositional impulses that dwell within us at this moment. Some of these elements will be explored individually\, in order to later integrate them into longer or more complex improvisation processes\, or even into composition work. \n  \nImportant Notice: Punctuality and regular attendance are essential for the continuity of the work. Participants will not be admitted more than 10 minutes after the start of each session. One justified absence is allowed per participant; a second absence will result in exclusion from the remaining sessions.

My partnership with Camané helped me drop the barriers I had built between myself and fado\, opening the music to new influences. \nAfter nineteen years\, I return to a solitude that was never unfamiliar to me.”
