DESCRIPTION:Wihan Quartet will present at CCB works by three great composers from different centuries (Joseph Haydn – 1790\, Robert Schumann – 1842\, Leoš Janáček – 1928) with a completely diverse style of composing. The way Haydn creates a bright and energetic world in perpetual motion with the unforgettable Lark theme that comes and goes is completely different from the complex and intense music\, almost intimate as the name of the composition says\, written by Janáček to reflect his long friendship with Kamila Stösslova and both are completely different from the way Schumann combines strings and piano\, playing with the dynamic of each instrument to create chamber music with an almost symphonic sound. But all of them have one thing in common\, they show their technical prowess in compositions with a great expressive energy\, creating engaging yet enduring music.
