SUMMARY:Melleo Harmonia
DESCRIPTION:In 1808\, when Beethoven premièred his Sixth Symphony\, before a completely astonished audience\, he did so by assuming a new posture\, much closer to the romantic than the classical set of ideas: the almost revolutionary right to an individual musical expression. \nBetween 1808 and 1811\, he composed his last concerto for piano and orchestra\, No. 5\, The Emperor Concerto\, in which the piano takes on the role of the main protagonist. \nThrough this combination of Beethoven’s genius with the sensitive interpretation of pianist Marta Menezes and the rigorous efficiency of the conductor Joaquim Ribeiro\, which we are accustomed to seeing in his musical direction of the Melleo Harmonia orchestra\, the ideal conditions are created for experiencing a musical moment of great quality and emotion.
