SUMMARY:What the Clouds See | Temps D'Images
DESCRIPTION:The 21st century is\, more than any other\, abundant in images. Paradoxically\, however\, our capacity for iconographic interpretation seems to decrease in the face of excessive information. From the ceiling of the Sistine Chapel to Pinterest\, the paradigms of semiotics change; decoding the mystery enclosed in an image has become a matter\, not of looking deeper\, but of looking more. How can we see clearly today? Where can we exercise visual perception in an unpolluted way? \nO Que Veem as Nuvens (What the Clouds See) is a show for an audience lying down and looking upwards\, in a mechanism similar to vertical cinema\, in which the bodies are deliberately arranged in a position of rest\, sleep and dreaming. Five playwrights propose different views of the world from above and from afar\, a necessarily holistic point of view\, where individuals are recognizable only by their shadows. \n  \nRicardo Vaz Trindade \nActor\, director and playwright. He has a degree in architecture from FCTUC\, and a post-graduation in Theatre Studies by FLUL. As an actor\, he has worked with Nuno Cardoso\, Madalena Victorino\, Ana Borralho & João Galante and Amarelo Silvestre\, among others. He researches collaborative theatre and stage writing and underwent an apprenticeship with The Team (NY). He was also enrolled in the 1st Theatre Writing Laboratory by TNDM II.
