John O’Gallagher, born in the United States, currently lives in Lisbon, where he has performed with several national ensembles. During his career in the U.S., he collaborated with musicians such as Maria Schneider, Joe Henderson, Tony Malaby, Peter Evans, among many others.
In this concert, performing in a trio with Jeff Williams on drums and John Hébert on double bass, they will interpret some of John Coltrane’s most expressive pieces, such as Brazilia, Wise One, and One Up, One Down.
